Launched in January 2020, OnFARM showcases rural enterprise, giving rural areas a stronger voice and a new platform from which to share their wonderful and inspiring stories.

The episode focuses on barley and its importance as the world’s fourth most important cereal crop. As well as talking about the International Barley Hub you can also hear from Alison Milne who grows and malts barley at Crafty Maltsters in Auchtermuchty, and Professor Wendy Russell at the University of Aberdeen’s Rowett Institute.
